The main focus of mamono realm silver weapons is their ability to incapacitate without killing, but did you know of their other capabilities? Spears in particular (I assume by interacting with mana in the air) can outright stab the air to fix themselves in place at the user's will. This mainly is for poledance fighting described below, but I can see it being used to change direct mid-jump/fall to dodge an attack or to stop a fall as well.

From World Guide Gaiden 2:

>Dance with a spear ()
>This is a method of seducing an opponent in battle with the help of a free and fascinating use of a spear like a pole and likening her body to a snake wrapping it. Spears made of realm ore, do not need to be stuck in the ground, they can be fixed in any position in the air. And since there is no need to pull a spear, you can conduct your attacks without interrupting the movement of the dance. Although this technique is the same as the "Succubus Combat Dance", but with the use of a spear, sometimes lecherous movements of hands and tongue in a lance far more strongly inflame the opponent's libido. The disorderly, irregular and depraved movements of a succubus dancing with a spear can not be predicted, as are subsequent actions that confuse the enemy. The lust of a man will only increase along with the strong stimulating movements that he sees, and he will continue to observe. And because of the excitement, they say, can not maintain a normal concentration of thoughts.

>This technique is specialized in demonstrating your flexible and beautiful body, which all monsters possess, but if you are from the Lamia family, capable of presenting your entire body as pliable and flexible, you can further enhance the effect. Echidna, possessing the highest level of strength among the lamia, and the master-soldier, the lance-guardian of Merse, who is one of the seven Lescatian Princesses, can use not only the movements of the body, but also control the movements of the spear as if it is a living snake that bewitch other people. And this snake in the blink of an eye from tender movements passes into a deadly attack that passes through the armor and, it seems, shakes the earth.

>What religions exist in MGE?

Many. First there is the pantheon of actual gods. While individual people and nations my prioritize a specific lower-ranked god, provided the god is neutral or aligned with the chief god, all worship of those gods is considered to also be worship of the chief god (though in practice the chief god often won't accept monsters or allies of monsters). These gods include Ares, Bacchus and Eros.

There are also gods who have turned against the chief god but are still worshipped, such as Bastet and Poseidon.

There are also many smaller human cults and sects which worship powerful monsters, like the inari cult of Zipangu, the cult of the snake god (which deifies echidnas and whose members seek to become lamia family monsters), the monsters worshipped by the human-centered faction of the Mist Continent, etc.

It's notable that as of yet one clearly vile woman in the setting, Merse's mother (apparently blinded Merse in one eye and abandoned the family), was not mentioned to have monsterized during the takeover of Lescatie.

Twins I'd say are possible, as is the possibility of a future child randomly being an echidna (assuming echidnas themselves are included in the "births random monsters" selection).

Other sources of new echidnas are humans who get monsterized into them, and regular lamias giving birth to them (echidnas are explicitly noted to be a mutational race descended from regular lamias).

Lilith's Panacea might be able to outright turn a regular lamia into an echidna as well.

There are some workarounds if you're willing to accept a human who was monsterized into an echidna. The two options there are very powerful women who have a special nature suited to becoming an echidna, or members of the Cult of the Snake God who are willing to put in the time and effort to gather enough mana to potentially become a high rank type of lamia.

> If they're snakes for lower rank lamia, then it can be done in a few days at the earliest, but in order to produce a high rank echidna, it takes at least several years, and could take decades, depending on the case. That's why these girls feel extremely happy and honored to be chosen for the snake god's ritual, and even more so if they're able to change into an echidna.

If you could find some Lilith's Panacea it might be able to change regular lamia into echidna, but good luck finding any as Runya Runya wasn't able to confirm it even really exists.

Assuming you don't want to use the loophole of "become her fiancee while she trains you to become like a hero" then about the only methods we know of would be to:

1. Find an unusual individual that will accept non-heroes (very difficult with echidnas as they are very rare to begin with).
2. Have a human woman with the potential to become an echidna fall in love with you (rare, but not impossible). Monsterized women often diverge markedly from the usual preferences of the monster type they become, and they always prioritize the man they loved as a human over whatever preferences the monster race has.

Dark Matter are presumably number one (due to explicitly consisting only of a few individuals).

Second place may go to lilims (being a relatively new species with special requirements for giving birth to more of their kind) or echidnas (do to each individual normally only being able to produce a single new echidna, any others having to come from monsterization or mutation).

I gotta wonder what the protocol is when this happens. That is we know the birth of mutations is much celebrated in monster societies, so it would definitely make local news at least, but what about naming/describing them? Would the parents have authority on what the new race is called? Would the new species name herself once she was old enough? Or would it be done by a scientist? Or perhaps it'd be a collaborative effort.

Also, imagine the heavy responsibility of such a daughter. She's the only one of her kind, its up to her to kickstart her new species via having as many kids as she can, plus develop her own culture/habits, discover her particular special abilities, etc.

The fallen maidens? I suppose Merse, given her hating being a woman was more a trauma than a personality trait. She even keeps her job it seems, just training monsters now instead of humans.

They are noted to be very rare monsters, but there are various means to boost their numbers.

1. On rare occasions that first daughter could be twins and thus you get two echidnas.
2. After the first birth what they birth is random except that the more powerful the man the more powerful the monster is. Ergo it is possible to randomly give birth to another echidna eventually and having a powerful husband raises those odds.
3. Certain humans have the potential to be transformed into echidnas. Lilims can do this to such potentials, and its also the most esteemed transformation that the humans of the Cult of the Snake God aspire to.
4. Echidnas evolved from regular lamias. So it should be possible on rare occasions for that mutation to happen again in a lamia's daughter.
