Dead Hours Sven Saturday is now live!
Make sure you have the latest server asset installed, it's a new one- so both new and old players need to have it installed and downloaded.

To connect, open up console and type

>password:rage

Once we get going, if the server fills up, try joining back in an hour or so. Usually Sven Saturdays go for hours, and people are always coming and going. Don't give up!

Reminder, all you need to join is Sven co-op off of steam, and the latest asset pack:

If you've played an fps before, you're fine. Just install it on steam, and you're good to play the game.
To play on my server specifically there's one additional step, a pack to download that has all the custom content, maps, playermodels, and chatsounds to make it more fun. See this post for more deets: >>30148191

What Sven started as, and still is, is a way to play through Half-Life 1 cooperatively. But there's now hundreds of fan made maps to play through, which is mostly what I do since most anons don't have the time commitment to play through the entire half-life campaign.
A typical map is spawning at one end, and having to fight through waves of enemies to the other, often with some exploration involved to find the right path and the occasional puzzle we need to solve together.

Tomorrow, same time as last weekend. I don't want to spam too much, but I'll make a post around 8AM PST with IP and links, and we'll start at 9.

So this will probably get lost between all the talk show hype and other stream stuff, but:
Reminder that tomorrow, we'll be hosting another sven co-op server for /hlgg/. Doing it the same time as last weekend, so 9AM PST. They'll be a server asset pack to download for all the chatsounds, player models, etc, so I'll post that and the server IP an hour before go time. If you dl'ed the pack last weekend, you don't have to again.

We'll probably play for three hours or so, and end it to watch Ina beat HL2 at noon. As for what we'll specifically play, I'm thinking the main half-life campaign, see how far we get through it. But I'll also put up a poll an hour before with some other options if people want something shorter or just a single map.
