Some Tsukumogami do murder humans. I heard about a house tsukumogami eating people that take shelter into it during storms and other tsukumogami that merge with their human owner.

The biwaflail makes for a gnarly melee weapon, but the score skirt means that you can create a symphony by lifting Yatsuhashi's skirt and railing her from behind. They're both pretty well off, there are worse musical instruments to be humanoid incarnations of.

Like tubas. I had this dream where Raiko stuffed me into a huge ass tuba and left me to die there so that I would become a musical instrument like her, and I found out that being a tuba is like living in a dark, cramped tunnel while feeling very, very nauseated. If you're attempting that one ritual where you jump into a whirlpool with a prized musical instrument and fuse with it in the process (that's one origin story for biwabokuboku/biwayanagi, though it's not so much a ritual as a freak accident), try it with a biwa or koto instead of any form of brasswind.
