This ray of light you had seen within Shinki that had reassured you throughout this heated argument would soon shatter as she too stepped up and would argue in favor of coming along with her. Once again, it was not such a fate that brought fear into your soul, but rather, the possibility of such a fierce contest taking a turn for the worst, with you as a casualty, but you would, if only for a moment, set aside your fear to contemplate the God that now stood in front of you. It's not like any of these fine ladies were exactly built like little girls, far from it, as the tension you've felt throughout this whole event can tell, but there was something even more holy about Shinki, she really seemed to embody the most straight forward idea of a God as you believed, a creator beyond all else. Lost in thoughts, you barely paid attention to Shinki's plea: "I believe Anon needs a proper environment, one that'll be as rich as the one they currently call home. Only in the land of Makai shall Anon lead a life that is neither one of endless labor, or one that'll lead him to the path of the outcast. My daughters and I are the only ones among ourselves to be able to accomplish such a task. Do not succumb to your usual selfishness and let Anon come to me". What followed was a silence of at least a few seconds. Was this it? Would Anon be left to Shinki and spend the rest of his days with the Goddess of Makai?
Of course not... if only it was this easy. Grins you had grown all too used to started showing on nearly everyone's face, as they each seemed ready to provide a nasty rebuttal that would take Shinki down a notch. Just like that, Yukari retorted: "So why don't you just create someone in Anon's image?". Shinki, seemingly ready for such a come back, had her own counter ready: "It's more complicated than you can imagine. Even in my infinite wisdom, I cannot hope to fully replicate Anon". Ripe for a tag team argument, Okina answered: "You act all high and mighty, but you're just as selfish as the rest of us, aren't you? You won't fool this bunch with your guise of greater good for Anon". For the first time, you would witness a hint of anger on Shinki's face. Just as a God can provide many blessings, they can just as easily be the herald of disasters, and this facial expression couldn't make this any clearer.
All in all, the state of Anon's fate hadn't really advanced since their entrance to the bar. Irritated by the many arguments they've thrown at one another, Yuyuko, who had since then been very quiet, offers one bold suggestion: "How about we let Anon decide? He shall spend a little bit of time with all of us, before making his choice." Beyond the wisdom of her words, it was something else entirely that caught your attention. For a split second there, Yuyuko smiled in your direction. That smile... it wasn't exactly the one of a mere gluttonous ghost, was it...? You couldn't exactly tell if it was malicious or not. It remained just as ambiguous as Yuyuko's interests regarding you. That rose phantom looked like a real enigma, even in the puzzle of a gathering you were in. Straight to the point as ever, Kanako asked: "And how shall we determine who Anon gets to spend time with first?" You'd think maybe, just maybe they'd simply ask you for your opinion on the matter, but before you could even think about the idea of standing up to them, Okina confidently replied: "A game of chance, what else?" Everyone seemed to agree to that idea, and so, within a few seconds of this mutual nod of approval, a wheel popped out of a strange gap filled with eyes. Each of the five maidens' names was written and covered an even amount of space, a fifth of the wheel per contestant. All that was left was for Anon to spin the wheel, and it'd be the start of Anon's long, long journey...

This is the end of the intro. I have a bit of work ahead so I might not exactly bounce back on a daily basis like with the part before. I left the choice open for 2 reasons. Suggestions, and if someone wants to bounce back and write about Anon's time with one of the 5 ladies, with of course a little pre amble as she wins the Wheel game. Personally, I'm currently leaning towards Kanako, as I can foresee a decent 2-parter and ways to develop her relationship with Anon during the short timespan they'd have together, and I feel I underdeveloped her in the intro, but I'd probably go back on my word and, in the spirit of the cliffhanger, i'd probably make a wheel of fate myself and let it tell me who goes first
