No. The depressed phase is where people usually an hero. What you are thinking of is when someone is manic and then right stressor hits and they go straight from manic to depressed. The main thing is learning to cope with the swings.

You might be thinking of mania which doesn't usually get hit. I was referring to hypomania.

Bipolar depression comes in waves so you might have a few days to weeks where you are SUPER ENERGETIC can do anything but are also kind of snappy and aggressive. Then swing into the Depression where you fucking hate living and it just sucks ass. There are different types of it.

Anyway you'll have really really high periods where you might be super fucking energetic and then you will go into a period of really nasty depression. I doubt Ame actually has it her issue is that it was the 1 year anniversary of a very sad period in her life which mimics the issues.
