mel's good at doing off-the wall humor but she doesn't know how to translate that into situations in games. If you watch her comeback stream or her costume update you'll see that she's good at entertaining but she's fairly inconsistent with it
the best way she would be able to appeal to more people is to do something like what miko/aqua/nene does with more hand-drawn nonsense, making off-beat jokes in her games, doing more gameshows with other holos like sugoroku, etc
