Eh, not so bad.

The main issue is he used too much softness/blur on the colour contrast, so everything looks exceptionally dull (as in the opposite of reflective). Hence why stuff that normally has a sharp colour contrast and should look shiny(er) like the Anubis' jewellery and the hair looks so off.

In pic related, you can see a much stronger contrast between colours; bright white for where the light bounces, near black for the other side, which gives the perception it's smooth and shiny, even if you can't physically feel it.
