The Hololives are your last chance to do your reps and finally become the JSL you were meant to be. Nothing else is going to inspire you more than the them as this fad inevitably cools down as all fads do. Yesterday you said tomorrow, today you say later. It’ll never happen until you sit down and do it. You’ll never understand the talk streams that have deeper conversations but don’t get translated because they don’t make for ~two minute clippable moments to go viral for some shithead trying to make money off the holos. You’ll never tell Marine in fluent Japanese you want to bully your womb, or get perfect tomboy who plays jrpgs gf like Subaru, or whatever the fuck it is you’re into. You’re just going to keep going with your aimless days shitposting in these threads with the doxxfags and false flaggers and narrativists and other pointless losers wasting their lives like you. No hope, no future. You decide to call your mom for mother’s day only to realize it was a week ago because you have no sense of time. Just drifting through life. Enough! Do your fucking reps! If Coco can outdo Ken-sama and learn Japanese in Japan and become part of something big so can you! Stop wasting time! Do! Your! Reps!

The guy in part 2 mentions working for a company until retirement, and I do have to agree that there are big similarities to this and being a company slave.
The biggest problem I have accepting this lifestyle are the living conditions, I'd never be content with sleeping on a chair.
With proper money management (i.e. not buying premade food every time because that is way more expensive than cooking yourself) you can live sort of comfortably if all you need is a PC and an internet connection.
The point of pursuing your dreams is a tough one, because everyone has their dreams, right?
And just having a dream doesn't mean that pursuing it is a possibility.
In the end it's obviously his (guy in part 1) choice to live his life like this, and I'm not going to criticize him for choosing that life as long as he isn't delusional about himself (pic related).
With delusional I mean that he should be aware of his own situation, his own capabilities (not thinking that he's a super cool number 1 artist when in reality his skill isn't far above average for the industry), and how other people will see him. If, after all this he is still content with his life and the meager chances of his dream becoming true, then I really can't criticize him.
