The fact that she kept her promise after all the bullshit the ushiromiya siblings pulled in Umineko is the main reason I love her

After reading Umineko once with the ps3 version + voices and once with original sprites + voices, I think both versions have their merits and drawbacks.

Besides Battler, a lot of significant improvements are made in the ps3 sprites that I think offset the hiccups like Battler not looking like a goof the way he’s supposed to.

As another anon stated, the placement of the cgs sometimes mess with the mood of the scene like when the chapter 4 Beato-on-the-balcony scene happens and we don’t get to see all of her expressions.

However, in the end the cgs really do make for an unforgettable experience in other parts, such as when Battler feeds Bernkastel a family special sandwich and the final scene where we get to see all of the characters side by side at the Fukuin house.

Overall, I think the ps3 version makes for an overall better experience, even though certain portions might be slightly altered from the original atmosphere and feel.
