Okay so, seeing how Holos don't need permissions for watchalongs since they're not showing the movie why don't they do the same with games?
Just stream yourself playing a game but don't show footage and cut the sound. This should work right? Am I the first one to come up with this or something? Someone should email Cover about this method asap.

RGD was also very good. I think if I'd also mentioned that I have read other works of R07's and liked them, people might have been less quick to overreact-- but who can really say? You can't teach a pig to read, and you can't teach a tranny not to get emotional when somebody attacks (even gently) a single one of their necessary distractions from their own lives. I fully understand that there's probably a dude in a Party City wig gazing at pictures of Meow and thinking "literally me" on the other end of those posts, so I don't take them personally.

I did mention that Ciconia isn't all bad. I'm at the bit with Lilja and Koshka now, and I'm enjoying it. With regards to the idea of the propaganda being intentional to later sell us on some deeper meaning that is fed to us down the road... I was thinking the same thing for awhile, and that's what's keeping me going despite the revulsion I feel towards most of what I'm reading. I'm not altogether hopeful, but the difficulty of this game is said to be 'quite high, given the present circumstances.' I wouldn't put it above R07 at all to use Phase 1 as a means of simultaneously baiting both the Shkanontrice tranny-hypers and the people who consider themselves to be proper fans of mystery.

I also think your diagnostic of what it all might mean is pretty good; in the mind of a child, obeying the propaganda may be considered equivalent to agency. "You can play in the sandbox, as long as you follow the rules. But within the sandbox, you can build anything you like." Such logic may convince people that they have full autonomy over their bodies within that sandbox. Yet, nobody questions why humanity has gone beyond allowing people to have children the natural way. Kind of an interesting throwback to 1984, once you get past the insufferable parts.

All right, now let's settle this once and for all.

How do you guys like to play Umineko and Higurashi?

I came to the conclusion that I prefer the original version of both. No voices and no fancy sprites. The voices are nice and all but I don't like to wait for them to finish what they are saying. As for the sprites, I think the originals are the most expressive ones.

The reason Higurashi's ending was shit is because throughout the entire show, we were lead to believe that the culprit would be either supernatural or human. The same "fantasy vs. mystery" question is posed to us in Higurashi that is posed to us in Umineko. The question of Oyashiro's existance is exactly synonymous with this question; in other words, when you think "fantasy vs. mystery in Higurashi", the first thing you think of is probably, "does Oyashiro/ magic exist?"

Nobody liked Higurashi's ending because it was so misleading... while the answer to what was going on (the conflict over Hinamizawa syndrome) is technically a non-magical conclusion, the disease itself was fictional. Nobody would have possibly guessed "Hinamizawa syndrome" when they were trying to put the puzzle together. Luckily for fans of Umineko, Ryukishi actually recognized the huge error he made when he wrote in Hinamizawa syndrome and was able to fully understand his mistake before writing Umineko. Lamda also makes fun of Hinamizawa syndrome in Umineko, so there's your proof. Also, Oyashiro actually exists, despite that the culprit is a human, and magic exists too, despite that we were lead to believe that it would either be fantasy or reality. It's bullshit, it's all bullshit!

For this one, imagine, battlers inside of the guest house looking out of the window, maria and george are playing cards or some shit. and battlers just looking out the window at the storm thinking about the parents squabbling about inheritance and shit. You can hear the clock ticking, it's almost midnight. Feel with it guys.

Challenge:

Convince cleverbot that magic doesn't exist. Can you do it?
