I think the common argument is desensitisation and constantly chasing that dopamine high, essentially needing more extreme stuff for the same erotic psychological effect.
Like you, I never really experienced it though; I don't watch any reipu beyond Madonna-style scene 1 reluctance (which turns into fkn enjoy in a matter of minutes anyway) and even then I'll sometimes skip that too. I don't watch any group sex/MMF (1 self-insert dude and multiple female is great though), no degradation, nothing crazy. The only pissing I enjoy needs to be from incontinence as a result of extreme pleasure.
I wonder if some people are just more susceptible to needing that constant escalation and get bored more easily in all areas of life?
