Someone pointed out that Touhou isn't going to last forever.

Eventually it will jump the shark, become dated, boring, and shitty. I think we're approaching that time, although it might be another year or two down the road once all of casual secondaries and tertiaries tire of it. For some of you, you might already fine it old news.

How will you survive in the post-Touhou world.

I've played Touhou 1-8 and I have won Touhou 6 and 7 on lunatic.
The thing is I don't really get why people is soo into Touhou. Buying Touhou clothes, making videos, figurines etc.
There hardly any plot in the games at all to make people really like touhou. Yet there is thousand of people that are all obsessed with Touhou.

Why? I don't really get what's good with Touhou. Any Touhou expert mind explaining a noob what this Touhou hype is all about?
