Because they don't go overboard on the proportions. Most Granblue girls look like busty, curvy women, just shrunk down. Too many people who do shortstcak mess with the proportions and just slap comically huge tits or butts on a kid's body. Makes it look weird.

Just in case you have no ideas and want to start drawing something immediately, how about something like this, only with Suika? She could be wearing a shrine maiden outfit, the guys could be wearing fundoshi, it'd be fun times.

You could do it in a couple of different ways, to suit your own tastes. Suika's clothes could be the same as Reimu's, or something more traditional. I like abubu's "basically transperent, nothing left to the imagination" fundoshi, but you could go with something more modest. And I think a smile suits Suika best, but she could just as easily be horrified at the situation, or licking her chops at the impending appearance of dongs.
