not saying you should give up, nor that you wont make it (you will if you want to), but i am saying that maybe your focus is wrong? the other anon is not wrong, you are trying to hold onto what you have, but, especially if you don't have that much time or drive, wouldn't making japanese your hobby and immersing in stuff you like be a better way?

its hard to explain but you arent really trying to...the purpose of all of this is not to become an encyclopedia that can recite every word and kanji combination by memory
the purpose is to be able to play and read and listen to stuff you like, and have fun with it
whether its vbijin, anime, games, manga, erohon, whatever
