Someone posted these numbers last thread. If we assume it's legitimate, and consider that youtube takes a 30% cut of superchats, we get a rough approximation of what vtubers make solely from donations. We can probably remove a further 10% to cover overhead; technical staff setting stuff up, commissioning artists for character models, equipment, editing, etc. The remainder is split between the vtuber and the agency, presumably.

I don't know what Japan is like, culturally, in terms of how talent is treated. Particularly in a relatively niche field like vtubers. So I can't speculate on the talent/agency split of revenue.
