I guess it’s time for some Matsuri doomposting, huh.

In the past 15 days, Matsuri has been the third lowest Hololive member in terms of viewer count, and this is excluding collabs/special events. The only people lower than her are Roboco and Mel. People like Aki, Sora, and Towa all have higher average view count than her.

Matsurifags tend to push this narrative that “oh, she makes so much”, but clearly, the amount she’s making isn’t growing. In fact, it’s receding. Matsuri was able to make so much in July because she had two major celebrations. However, if you compare the months around July (May, June, and August), you’ll see that her SC numbers have been steadily going down.

Bilibili earnings works differently in that it is based on paid membership. Matsuri’s Bilibili earnings are down from July to August, meaning more people cancelled their subscription than bought subscriptions for Matsuri’s channel. While the dude who sent the SC was a falseflagger, his sentiments definitely resonate with many of her Bilibili audience. Just look at her anniversary video, and you'll see some of her more hardcore fans trying to defend her addiction to APEX.

And keep in mind that this is while Hololive is receiving unprecedented growth and seeing huge increases across multiple channels.

Her % of videos that are collabs and more importantly, sustained collaboration has been decreasing since February, and you can see that there really isn't anyone in Hololive besides Fubuki and Luna that Matsuri has in her circle, and even Luna and FBK have stronger connections with other Holos (Bakatare and Subaru respectively).

If she doesn't care about any of that and just wants to play APEX, that's perfectly fine. But don't argue that it's somehow good for her channel or that she isn't declining, when she clearly is by any metric you use.
