Why not? That's all that matters regarding canon for every other piece of fiction, WTC is no different. You thinking it needs more plot points connected is completely separate from what's considered canon, it's just you wanting things to be different. Plus the actual connections already gave everyone here a headache from all the endless discussions of Satoko and Rika becoming Lambda and Bern or not, this shit happened throughout all of Sotsugou from Satokowashi-hen onwards, especially with stuff like Eua calling Satoko Vier, where have you been?
