Before Amelia debuted, /hlg/ (before the split) was paranoid that a 'Western Ironic Weeb/Zoomer/Twitch Thot' would somehow pass HoloEN auditions and ruin Hololive from the inside. Our fears were mostly relieved as Mori, Kiara, Ina, and Gura ended up having scuffed but acceptable debuts. However, Amelia's debut did not live up to the hype at all. It was beyond scuffed. For reasons we wouldn't learn until days later, she clearly went in unscripted and unprepared. Watsoncoin crashed HARD. Doomposting and red wojaks flooded the stickied thread. Amelia basically debuted as the Anti-Christ for /hlg/ and /hlgg/. She seemed to embody the 'worst case scenario' everyone originally thought HoloEN would be.

But then Amelia chilled out a lot in her first Valorant stream. She could truly showcase her streaming skills and experience as well as her cute personality. Amelia could then do her Superliminal stream with a neutral, non-judgemental audience on 4ch. Her cute laughs, stubborn commitment to brute forcing every challenge, and dedication to touching every fire extinguisher emotionally ensnared /hlgg/. The threads exploded so hard with Gosling variants that image slots ran out in mere minutes. Many anons had to resort to spamming ASCII Goslings. The worst of it came when she entered a room full of stars and softly spoke "It's just like us, in real life" like we were on a date. I swear to fucking God at least one anon must have dropped dead from a heart attack.
Thanks to Superliminal, Ame quickly went from the Anti-Christ to one of, if not the most, popular ENs for /hlgg/. It was quite the redemption arc, and the threads were entertaining as hell.
