This guy is funny.
He seems too obsessed with justifying his waifu to the reality, though.

In my opinion, things don't need to be real, as long as they achieve their purpose.
For instance, Mickey Mouse makes a kid laugh, so it achieves its purpose.
You could argue that the animation is real, but what makes the kid laugh are not the lines that conform Mickey's body, but rather the character of Mickey, the talking mouse, which is not real.

So, as long as being with Ran makes you both happy, there's no reason for her to be real.
