Ah, thanks. As far as I could tell it is a form of 2-way tricot made by the company A&J. Looking at this page, http://www.a-and-j.co.jp/character_goods/03like.html, it seems they wanted to improve upon the dakimakura experience. Supposedly it is stronger and more comfortable than normal 2-way tricot, in addition to that it seems fewer hairs are supposed to stick to it.

No guarantee that I actually understood that site though, could just be sprouting random shit out my ass.
