i will however say that i'm enjoying KS. yeah, its a little skimpy for five years worth of work and yeah some of the writing is kind of shitty and lame but overall i think its pretty fun. you fellas just need to take a chill pill.

also who cares what 2ch thinks, 2ch has just as many retards with bad opinions as 4chan does. simply being japanese does not make them better at judging a VN's quality.

I wasn't paying much attention to the development back when the hype was big, but from what I understand, /jp/ stopped being involved when the rest of 4chan started seeking help from gaia-esque sites. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong here.

Still, I'm more sad than mad at KS. If anything, the premise was good and the demo was pretty much a job well done, considering it wasn't a commercial work.

Hanako was mai waifu before she was even named Hanako, or even had more personality than the blurb RAITA attached to her prototype.

She remains to be mai waifu through the demo of Katawa Shoujo and will likely be in the actual release, though it still technically remains to be seen.

Competitive gaming is obviously pretty huge internationally. Different countries partake in games such as DotA, LoL, WoW, Starcraft, Counter-strike, Street Fighter, etc. I can't help but wandering: what's japan's genre and game of choice?
I imagine fightan games (in particular shit like Tekken and BlazBlue) are huge there, but what else is there? Do the japanese even play many FPSs at all?

AS an aside, what's the most popular MMO in Japan? FFXI?
