I hear where you're coming from, and I won't make the same mistake again. From now on, if I want to write a story, I'll promise myself that I'll be writing it from the ground-up for either monster girls or for whatever else I would want to write a short story about. No in-betweens or hybrid attempts; it will just end up making both versions of the story suffer.

You have no idea how happy this makes me. I was really worried that I wasn't doing them right because I have trouble getting aroused at my own writing. I don't have that problem with other people's writing. Maybe I'm too busy looking at my writing critically to get a stiffy. The mysteries of this world are boundless.
