A different version of Wendigos are already done and Manitou would be hard to give a definite shape, so how about ermines?

They're adorable little weasels that shift from brown to white with the seasons and eat mice. I imagine they'd be feisty and sort of violent, but have a very soft and girly side. Their furs were once very valuable for rich ladies too, so they might be very fashion-conscious since they change their looks with the seasons.

That or dire moose.
