The closest thing to Azathoth's reality-wipe in the mythos is nothing because there is no such thing in the mythos, at least in the part created by Lovecraft himself (that I know of, at least). The whole reality-wipe thing was just assumed, because it is believed that Azathoth was inspired by Mana-Yood-Sushai from Lord Dunsany's The Gods of Pegana and because of the Red King in Alice Through the Looking-Glass and the association between the Dreamlands and Wonderland.
