I think that monster culture would be all together not dissimilar to the one generally posited by the thread; generally motivated by sex and pleasure. That said however, I also think that there would be less specific emphasis on sex and sexual pleasure and more on general aestheticism and egocentric indulgence.

A world where everyone is basically overcome by chuunibyou, all living out their disparate fantasies in a world that where you can do that and get away with it, but still looking ridiculous to everyone who isn't living in the same fantasy as you, and yourself all the while, living as according to your own ideal of vanity.
