Maybe when I get something better than this 7.5 years old laptop, from the look of things I'll have to wait until later this year for LGA1700/DDR5, hopefully by then hardware prices will have normalised.

For clean work using PS, your best bet is to watch lack's youtube videos. Basically establish your loose lines then fill in with base colors, render and apply a clean linework on top (don't forget about lineweight).
