My main issue is that I can think of goliath, sprawling scenarios that in my head sound fucking amazing, but wind up being pretentious when trying to write them/thinking of how to execute them properly without being too cliché or formulaic with them. I mean, to be completely fucking honest, I got into writing partly for the attention and mostly because I wanted to try and articulate story ideas outside of greentexts and contribute at least -something- worth remembering in the thread, I guess.

Another problem I have is for whatever reason, people I tend to associate with seem to think my forte is in monsters I'm rather ambivalent about like Manticores and Apophi when in reality I just tend to use them as crutches for shitty Freudian stories that 90% of the time involve a mother and a daughter, blood relations of some kind in general, or just really, really contrived shit in it. I mean, Hell. It'd almost be cathartic if people didn't expect me to write about them because RS is all we really need for the Manticores anyway because he at least has the writing chops to do more than one or two scenarios.

Just once I'd like to be able to sit down and actually write about a monster I give two shits about without people thinking I'm pandering to the little guy because at my core I'm one of the biggest vanilla/degenerate faggots here. I mean, for fuck's sake, P'Orcs are in my top five.

Just going to stop there because that's wayyy too much of a bitchy and whiny self-depreciation post and head on back to the drawing board.
