Just like when I watched the ending to Mother Korone makes me think of a chiild who never grew up. She's terrified of change and the passing of time so much. I can definitely understand existential dread and it's a near universal thing, but this ammount of it displayed so often is something I associate with teens terrified of the future, most people learn to deal with it one way or another as they get older. It never truly goes away, but it's something you just have to accept as part of the natural course of life
