My only complaint with kiara, is that she has set her mic up poorly. I know it's not her fault since she isn't an audio nerd, but asking her cult followers if the mic sounded good was a bad idea.
These people will, no matter what, tell kiara she's great and perfect. The more reasonable people know the consequence of telling kiara something negative.
It results in kiara crying and then getting doxxed, which is why no one has spoken up about it.

The truth is though, that she has her gain set way too high for how close she is to the mic. I think she then tried to counteract it with a noise gate and compression that comes on too late. It results in her normal voice becoming very dry and crackly.
Her voice cuts in harshly because of the noise gate and the rumble of her vocal cords comes in sharp on the ears when listening on normal levels. Her lip smacking noises don't sound lewd, they pop loudly like a fire crackling. It's not enjoyable and objectively not a nice noise.
It was a novelty at first, but it's very tiring to the ears now. Her quiet voice is fine though and when she stepped away from the mic during the last FE stream its clear how much better her mic is when not running hot like that.

It's been three weeks, and she's shown no effort in correcting it. I have mentioned it before on her twitter, but I'm not a delusional paypig so my advice is ignored. I genuinely believe it's a debuff for her though. New people arrive and don't bother sticking around. Why would they. All the other holos barring anya have better mic quality. Her own followers just stop by shortly to give a like to their oshi and click away. She sounded so good in her voice pack, and with the occasional peak her middle mic was fine. Why change it so drastically.
