I didn't really get it until I saw a character I liked. Even then, I mostly just like it for her. Sometimes kinks are weird that way.

I guess the dynamic it has in Akame ga Kill is why I was drawn to it. Essentially being drafted into a makeshift family of assassins would be pretty terrifying, but the presence of a self-admitted nee-san makes the process a lot easier to bear. I guess I was attracted to the vulnerability aspect, combined with someone who is there to vouch for you.

I really wish the series hadn't gone full retard.
