Are secondaries really a problem?

The working theory is that secondaries, in their enjoyment of secondary media, can overtake primary fans and thus destroying the primary media by forcing the creators to either stop creating primary media or shape it into an inferior version of its former self, because the original creators have a financial incentive to appeal to them instead of the original, dedicated fanbase.

Has this truly ever been the case? Is there an example of this occurring in media with a direct causal link, rather than outside factors causing these changes?

What is the appeal of these games.

I only played wadanohara, and it was just mediocre fujoshit with some nice art but that's about it. I'd say I liked the twist if not for the fact I didn't particularly care for the characters in general. The horror was really generic, the music was unmemorable, gameplay was filler, etc.

Yeah, generally it's time based. I don't remember the exact time tables, you'd have to check wiki for that, but it's like half a pip more every 30 seconds up to maximum of 3 orbs. So getting hit 3 minutes in takes 3 balls, getting hit 10 seconds later takes one half of a ball. Getting hit 10 minutes in still takes 3 dots.
