Pervert culture is one of the foundations of this entire site, especially on the Japan-related boards. I still have no idea why a bunch of newfags decided to force the idea that acting like that is bad, why they let a literal bunch of discordfags keep forcing it after it got filtered on /v/, or why people fucking accepted and sympathized with that term, but it's easily one of the most cancerous forced memes in the entire history of 4chan and I wish everyone who uses it would just die. It's a shame that mods gave up on moderating it as well, it wasn't uncommon for every post using it to get deleted quickly enough, but then they stopped being deleted and mods forgot how effective word filters are to contain the spread of cancer (see the abbreviations of "shaking my head" and so on).
