>Each stage hides an anime-style picture of a girl underneath it. The goal is to uncover at least 80% of that picture within a time limit by cutting out rectangular portions with JR's path. Enemies trapped inside the uncovered rectangle disappear. Enemies and hazards include thugs, guards, bombs, ninjas, and tanks. Collecting clocks extends the time limit, but changes the picture's visual style into "super-deformed".
Funny that getting the left pic instead of the right is a sort of punishment.
