Lilith dying is not going to change things anymore than an apple tree getting cut down is going to make all the apples it bore disappear. The new Demon Lord is not going to have any reason to change things because it would be like running for president genuinely promising you're going to make everyone in the country (with no exceptions, including the elites and yourself) homeless and starving. Its noted most monsters don't care about how big or luxurious their home is, and that the distance of the mansions from Dragonia itself, as well as the extra upkeep required for such big homes, is off putting to them.

Exceptions include lizardmen, salamanders, etc. who value the large rooms and empty spaces as training grounds. And of course wights and vampires looking for homes to suit their status.
