Coming to New York City for the Ina billboard tomorrow? Here are some tips from a former tour guide.

Don't just stay in Times Square. It's a fun attraction and you should see it at least once, but there's so much more to the city. Plus everything around there is fucking overpriced. Bryant Park and Rockefeller Center are a few blocks away and both very much worth visiting.

If someone offers you something for free, don't take it. It might be some dude's mixtape or some kinda plastic charm thing from a buddhist looking mother fucker, but they're gonna try and get money for it. On a similar note, don't take pictures with the people in costumes unless you're willing to tip.

We say fuck a lot. Like enough to fucking put Coco to shame. Fucking deal with it.

Don't block the fucking path. New Yorkers are pretty nice most of the time, but if there's one thing that'll piss us off it's someone getting in the way while we're going somewhere. And we're always going somewhere. So don't take up the whole sidewalk or escalator or whatever.

Don't be afraid of the subway. Sure it may look like a confused mess of spaghetti that would make a Factorio player weep, but it'll get you where you need to go. Mostly. The fucking MTA sometimes. Just make sure you let people get off the train first.

Related to the above, don't be afraid to ask for help if you need it. We may be a bunch of fucking assholes but we're the nicest bunch of fucking assholes you've ever met.

Try and get to the other boroughs. I'm a Manhattan stan through and through, but Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx all have fun shit to do. Fuck Staten Island though. If you don't mind walking I'd recommend going across the Williamsburg Bridge, which takes you from the border of Chinatown and the Lower East Side in Manhattan to Williamsburg in Brooklyn, all of which are fun.

I'm not sure how useful this will be, since most of the people coming into the city tomorrow probably already live close enough that they've been here before. But hey, you can always save it for later if you live farther afield.

Feel free to ask any other questions you might have. And most importantly, have a good fucking time Ina the city.
