Well it was a lot easier in original MGQ, since you're strapped to a railroad as opposed to being presented a whole world map's worth of nonlinear options and "It's Super Effective" attacks.
I'm sure the solutions are all in /mgqg/ somewhere, but to find it I'd have to sift through a million spoilers.
