I see some people always talking about Japanese difficult being a myth and everything being "normal Japanese", but fuck that noise. Philosophical essays from the 1930s~ prewar are fucking impossible to understand, pic related. This takes like college level Japanese knowledge, if you don't spend decades of your life dedicating to memorizing vocab and shit this stuff is just impossible. Sticking to porn games and manga is one thing, but "real deal" Japanese is just fucking hard, no ifs ands or buts about it.
