The people who aren't mentally ill dont even think about relationships involving their favorite or any other holo. If they need arises, they just jack off to the images of various holos just because they love the naked body of 2d women. What the holos do with their feelings or personal life ends up being irrelevant, because you're insignificant i nall of it, and should instead focus on improving the chances of finding personal happiness instead of backseating others and using them as a proxy to have a relationship.

Arknights is probably the best game if you're looking for a FTP experience and some decent tower defence gameplay. Genshin Impact has some good gameplay but the gacha is unforgiving so play at your own risk.
There's FGO and Granblue, but you're going in mostly for the story and your in for a grind fest.
