>Knight sent to slay ancient evil dragon
>His coat of arms has a dragon on it
>She takes it as a sign that they're destined to be together
I like to imagine that these stories end 20 years later where teenage dragons with dragon heraldry are bothering peasant boys by offering to "protect" them from other monsters

I was reading about how medieval bows and crossbows were capable of punching through armour and even walls in the hands of a skilled marksmen which got me thinking. KC talks a lot about melee weapons like swords in Lescatie and spears in Dragonia but he hasn't really talked about bows and arrows. That's also considering that fact something like a longbow or greatbow would require significant upper body strength and training to pull off which means that a skilled archer wouldn't be a twig like they are in most fantasy setting

Would mg's be in awe of a hero that was skilled with a bow? Like a deadeye that can pick off warriors or mounted knights from a distance with demon silver arrows. Tldr, Would a dragon still get mere'd if she were shot down in dragon form like Gough does to Kalameet or would that be "cheating". Same question goes for other strength-respecting mg's like salamanders and hinezumi
