While I can appreciate your cutesie, big eyed garbage as a component of the great cultural story of Japan, my interests and aesthetic pallet ascend far beyond to encompass the spirit and experience that is Yamato. Noh theater? Buddhist poetry? The seasonal ritual of farming the rice paddies? I embrace all of these and so much more that I could write a scroll taller than the height of Fuji-san and still never convey the depth of my connection to that majestic archipelago on the pacific rim.
