Say you're a novice summoner, most likely far from monster lands with little or no knowledge of monster girls. All you've got are a bunch of outdated texts and spellbooks that are probably based on pre-DL information, detailing what each of these terrible beasts is good at and how to properly summon them.
So you set up your circle, check and triple check it to make sure they won't just rip out your throat as soon as they arrive, and summon one. Only to find out that a) what the fuck it's a sexy girl instead, and b) they're a whole hell of a lot more interested in (You) than any contractual promises of power.
In fact I bet a lot of new summoners would panic when the girl shows up since they'd assume something went completely wrong and they fucked up hard.
