The series grants leeway into grim subjects, that with a large cast of primarily cute girls, a large number of them even being pretty fleshed out in story and personality, makes the idea of rape and mindbreak for pleasing to the viewer.

I'd say that people who just get off to them is due to the battling nature and our deep desires for domination work out well. Some disgusting fat fuck defeating a literal god and enforcing his seed into her orifices is something that any guy with high teste and an unquenchable lust wants. This is just for the sexual part, though. What really makes me enjoy those doujins is when they ring true to the setting, characters and I guess motives. The amount of mischaracterization done on characters in order to satisfy a secondary who just wants to see a generic smiling anime girl is a behemoth in comparison. There's no real good conflicts with these fan materials, so the reward feels worthless when you read about, say, cheery Alice doing a handheld mating press with self-insert man. The shit you complain about is just the opposite effect of these doujins, catering to a demographically small people with niche tastes. If you actually cared for the characters, you'd make them experience tragedy, feel emotions of grief or genuine pain, making them resort to solutions that provide a happy or sad ending, depending on the message given. But they're doujins, so you're always going have rape, mindbreak and snuff. While at the same time we also have to deal with yurishit and a lot of baseless headcanons that would fit your vanilla tastes.

tl;dr Stop being a little bitch, based on what I've read I'll take it that a few of you are visiting from a subreddit of some sort.

By playing the games, I realize that the general fanbase actually don't play the games. If they do, it's usually just EoSD, PCB, IN or they'll be interested in whatever new 2hu eyecandy is released.

By trying to understand and enjoy the series as much as possible, it caused me to loathe it. The spiral gets worse when you take note of things ZUN did wrong.
