Motion graphics artists for a single music video can reach upwards of 5K, for live performances and triggering that number inflates dramatically, I'd reckon a minimum of 50K was spent on background motion graphics and probably another 10K was spent on the in-between title cards.

Easily another 20K since they need a broadcast license.

The computers needed for those models alone are absurdly expensive. Not to mention the technicians involved and if Cover actually owns their mocap system now then that easily doubles every cost so far since they'd be hiring on a salary VS contract.

For shit like Haruhi's theme music I can't imagine they paid anything less than 10X that much.
And those are just surface costs, when you factor in stuff like insurance, production insurance, sunk costs on developing the systems, rehearsal time, studiospace, the actual payment of all the staff and talent, and the months of preparation that they need to be paid for, I'm almost certain that Cover was in debt before they started selling the tickets.

It's not really that much of an issue in the long run. Googles ARCore face tracking is actually pretty good but it doesn't support eye movements or blinking, but her model doesn't have eye tracking to begin with. I just wanna know what the highest quality option is.
