When a streamer says "thank you guys" or "i love you guys" or "i appreciate listener-san" or anything like that. what does she mean?

well she isnt talking about you. she doesnt love you, nor does she know you or care that you exist.

listener-san is a hivemind entity with disposable members.
from the streamer's perspective, the chat is thousands of people, all posting the same thing (kusa) and giving her tons of money. its impossible to tell apart any individual members, and if you died from a heart attack right now, you would be replaced by the next viewer and nothing changes.
its almost like listener-san is a nation and the streamer is a politician, and she just wants to collect your tax money. if you die, it doesnt matter much, because some other sucker gets born and pays taxes in your stead.
