Don't get me started on that. I see "pls respond" and "you're mom lol" being used without a trace of irony now and it hurts my soul. These are the people I've chosen to hang around with? Then I convince myself I'm being elitist for no good reason and try to find a thread I can enjoy peacefully.

Have tried to leave plenty of times already, burning bridges and the whole thing. Always come crawling back. Not really sure what keeps me here since I hate most of the recent culture. Guess it's like a bad household. It might be terrible, but it's home, you know.

Still optimistic the /q/ attention will play in our favor in the long run. But at the same time I worry since even with 24/7 moderation we still need an active userbase willing to fill the voids left from all the deleted threads. Otherwise it's slow stagnation for us.

Sorry, trying to stay optimistic somehow and it's nice to see some old faces here, but this thread is really cementing the fact that our time has come and gone for me.
