Ironic weeb is basically what western mainstream "otakus" are like. It's this culture where every weeb thing first has to be made fun of before it is discussed, and you can never like something genuinely. You discuss K-On? Gotta mention how stupid and degenerate you are for enjoying "cute girls doing cute things". You like Atelier games? First put shade on how degenerate you are. You watch vtubers? Talk about le rabbithole.

This kind of culture is the reason western vtubers fucking suck ass. They always need to overdo it with their irony, fuck with their chat, fuck with themselves and what they are doing. No one is allowed to genuinely like something in the western anime community. Hence ironic weeb.

I love Kiara, and I always have, but she's been really growing a lot and coming into her own unique style.

The only thing that has to go is the laugh. She's been doing it less, but she still undercuts a lot of her jokes by laughing at them herself, and it's awkward, and it makes her less enjoyable to watch. I don't think her laugh itself is deliberately styled after Pekora but I do think she is imitating Pekora a little in the way she tries to inject laughter into things. And at her best she's not doing this.

Once she tones it down we're going to have fully self-actualized chickin.

Kiara is truly the most unchained Holo.

Naw I'm Day 1 hatchling. I have been critical of Mori too, the thread just amplifies it in an unfair way and I realized it was exaggerating my negativity. Maybe I'll akasupa her an apology.

If the people joining her have at least a normal IQ, which I hope so, being fast shouldn't mater as long as you can make an argument. Fast typing's only gonna mater in dire situations when you have someone killed right in front of you and they self report, the faster typist can usually sway the vote.
