Does everyone remember what the internet was like before it was a corporate space? Back when it was a no-brainer that you should never post potentially identifying information, and people were protective of their identity and location? Hell, I don't know about all of you, but I remain undoxable because I've never in two decades posted anything that could be traced back to me online.

Aloe though? She's still a teenager. She grew up in a world with an internet where privacy is non-existent. Of people using their real names online, and cataloging their lives on social media. So of course any amateur otaku sleuth could find now only her, but any Holo, given enough time. Aloe is a product of the world she grew up in, and that world is a fallen one.

Consider the following: How did we go from the before times where you weren't even sure what gender a user was to today where you know how often a person shits? The attitude shift came when Facebook's popularity skyrocketed, and people were "required" to use their real names. If you know the origins of Facebook, you'll know that Zuckerberg essentially stole code from his partners while he was in Harvard, and the school allowed it to happen. Zuckerberg used this code to create Facebook's first iteration, which was a catalog of female students. All this happening at the same time Harvard is offering Jeffery Epstein an office on it's campus for unknown reasons. Considering that we now know that Epstein was a Mossad asset involved in political blackmail, I don't think it's unreasonable to hypothesize that these events are all related.

Today, Facebook is not a catalog of female students, but of everyone on the planet. Is it still used in political blackmail? Maybe, maybe not. But what matters today is that money was pushed with the intention to achieve the result of people sharing private information online without a second thought. That is the world where Aloe found herself. A landscape created by Harvard, Zuckerberg, and Epstein. Without them, Aloe never would have thought it's okay to post so many things about herself online.
