Most of the PC-98 games have a pretty ridiculous plot when they have plot. Though it's not like the Windows games are the pinnacle of writing either. Remi causing an incident because she wanted to walk outside without an umbrella and Yuyuko stealing spring because she was forgetful are both prime examples.
