I looked over and saw that Kagerou was watching us, and she had a small smile on her face. Instantly, I felt a little self-conscious, and I looked away, back at Yamame, who smiled up at me. Then, with a splash, Wakasagihime launched up from the water, sending water droplets everywhere, and she performed a somersault in the air before diving back down, then finally she returned to the surface slowly and came to a rest at her stone, water streaming from her hair, her chin, her clothes, and...Well, pooling in her cleavage when she brought her arms together on the stone, her kimono loosening. I would have felt worse about noticing, if I couldn't see that Yamame had noticed the exact same thing. "Here, look, look!" Wakasagihime told us excitedly, opening her hands to scatter a number of coloured stones across her table, joining the green one that was already there. "The lake goes really deep, you see, so the further I dive down, the more stones I find." She picked up one of the stones, a blueish-green one which caught the moonlight and almost twinkled. "This is an opal, I think." She offered it to me, and I delicately took it, scared of somehow breaking it. It was wet, and I wiped it with my sleeve, revealing the shifting patterns inside, and I found it somewhat mesmerizing.

"Wow..." Yamame mumbled, staring over my shoulder. "That's really pretty, princess." She told Wakasagihime, who giggled and agreed.

"This one," She said, selecting a green stone, though it was a different shade of green from the one that I had kept with me, "Is a peridot." She lifted it to catch the light, which showed the curious patterns in contained. "I think these come from the outside world. They drift in and wind up under the lake. I think that a lot of things do that, and there's probably an untold amount of treasures down there." She cast a glance downwards, just for a moment. "Makes me wish I had someone else to explore it all with..." After a second, she shook her head and looked up. "Sorry! Er, ignore me. I'm probably a little tipsy. This one, here, it's an, um, amethyst." The stone she lifted was a vibrant purple, and I found it very interesting to look at. It felt mysterious, aloof and yet, unmistakeable in its nature. I found it alluring, but at the same time, I didn't want to try and touch it.

There were plenty more, and Wakasagihime took us through most of them. "Oh, and Kagerou's offered to try and take me to some of the other lakes in Gensokyo!" She told us, looking very excited. "I get to see what other kinds of pretty stones are out there!" I thought about it. There were plenty of lakes up in the mountains, small ones, to the largest one near the top of the mountain where the Moriya Shrine was. Not to mention, there were other lakes that I'd heard about seen from a distance across the valleys surrounding the village. I couldn't say for sure what any of them were like, but I was certain that they were interesting, and I offered my well wishes to Wakasagihime for her trip, a sentiment that Yamame echoed.
