The trouble with HnYS is that the best part of the song gets so much of its power from its tempo, rhythm, and build over 3 repetitions. When circles try to syncopate it for jazz or change the tempo for any other genre, it doesn't often come out as well on the other side.

"Clear Roze" (Bizen) does a very good job of handling this by keeping those elements largely intact and just letting the 'chorus' play over the (slightly too loud) synth bass and drum.
